Student of the Year 2018

The Spring Showcase is one of Nugent Music Academy's favorite times of the year for a lot of reasons. Students get to perform the pieces they've been working on for their friends and families and the sense of pride that follows is always an amazing sight to witness. There are new outfits and lots of pictures and smiles and an excessive amount of cupcakes and the famous recital punch. Trophies and certificates are given out and we also get to name a few special awards, including the Student of the Year. The recipient for 2018 is Joshua Decker! Josh participated in the Hymn Festival and Sonatina Festival as well as playing at several performance opportunities within the Academy and at his church. He has a deep passion for playing piano and enjoys practicing and learning new skills. He's also relentlessly cheerful and is always willing to lend a hand and help those in need. Congratulations, Josh! 

We're Nearly Ready!

We've all been hard at work trying to get the new building finished and ready to move into! Progress is definitely being made - rooms are painted, furniture is put together, and the chandeliers are hung! Thank you to everyone who helped us choose paint colors and helped along the way - we can't wait to share this new space with our students and their families.
